Position Description
infotex, a preferred service provider of the Indiana Bankers Association,
is needing to fill a part-time entry-level position in our Network Operations Center (NOC).

 

We are looking for a thorough, detail oriented NOC Technician to analyze Intrusion Prevention System events, handle incidents, respond to network monitoring alarms, manage emergencies on BSD Unix and Linux servers, etc.

 

The successful candidate will have already built a home network, have an undying curiosity about network security, be very punctual, know how to communicate, and want to grow in a company that provides excellent service to our banking and healthcare clients. General networking experience is a must, and experience in Unix and Information Security is desired. Certifications and/or degrees are a plus, but not required.

 

COMPENSATION

This is a "1099 Contract Employee" position. Compensation will be based on skills and experience, and ranges from $60 to $125 per shift. This is an entry level position in a quickly growing MSSP that serves the financial and healthcare industry. The NOC, and infotex in general, are oriented toward teaching. This position is an excellent opportunity to expand experience into many areas of security and networking.

 

HOURS

Two shift-types available: 3:45 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. and 11:45 p.m. to 8:15 a.m.
