Part Time NOC Technician

Position Description
infotex is looking for a thorough, detail oriented Network Operations Center Technician to analyze Intrusion Prevention System events, handle incidents, respond to network monitoring alarms, manage emergencies on BSD UNIX and Linux servers, manage web defacement monitoring events, etc.  The successful candidate will have at least three years experience in UNIX and two years experience in Information Security.  Certifications / degrees are a plus, but not required.

This is an entry level position in a quickly growing MSSP that serves the financial and healthcare industry.  This position will initially fill an 8 hour night shift on our NOC schedule.  Other shift work and consulting engagements will become available as qualifications exist.

The NOC, and infotex in general, are oriented toward teaching.  This position is an excellent opportunity to expand experience into many areas of security and networking.

The successful candidate will work as an associate of infotex for 30 days prior to being hired full time.
