CBAI Names infotex as Preferred Service Provider

The Community Bankers Association of Indiana (CBAI) recently announced that Infotex, Inc., a Managed Security Service Provider, has been granted Preferred Service Provider status within its membership.

Headquartered in Indianapolis, CBAI is a statewide association representing more than 110 community banks and thrifts in Indiana that provides quality professional leadership in fostering profitability and viability to its membership.  “The detailed due diligence performed by CBAI when selecting Preferred Service Providers is extensive,” stated Joe DeHaven, President of CBAI. “We are proud to have a relationship with Infotex and offer their recommendation to our members.”

The rigorous selection process goes hand-in-hand with the CBAI’s mission to promote the interests of Indiana Financial Institutions and to provide quality professional leadership in fostering profitability and viability to its members.  “It is an honor to work with CBAI,” stated Dan Hadaway, Managing Partner of Infotex.  “Securing their endorsement means a lot to our firm as it was a very tough process.”

The preferred services that Infotex will be providing to CBAI members include Policy Development Consulting, Secure Communications, Awareness Training, and Vulnerability and Risk Assessments.  Infotex has been providing Incident Prevention Systems (IPS), and Risk Assessments to community-based banks for several years now.  They recently developed Sifter Plus, a solution that allows entities to send e-mail in a secure manner, and have a suite of training packages tailored to management, technicians, and end-users.

“Banks are keenly interested in security awareness training solutions and are recognizing the substantial need for secure communication between themselves and their customers,” said Matt Jonkman, CISSP for Infotex.  “The Preferred Service Provider status will open a lot of doors while ensuring a consistent approach with CBAI members.”

Infotex has offices in Indianapolis, Kokomo, Lafayette, and Wabash.
