Dan Hadaway, CISA, CISM
Dan comes from an entrepreneurial background which gave him his first experience managing the IT governance process in 1984. Prior to founding infotex in 2000, he had overseen software development projects, e-commerce application development, and many network installation projects. He wrote his first Acceptable Use Policy in 1986, and conducted his first Information Technology risk assessment in 1989.
Dan focused infotex on the banking industry in 2003 when he oversaw the acquisition of Paradigm Shift Security. He now works extensively with banks on policy issues, engaging on projects ranging from gap analysis to IT Audits to developing a full policy set for denovo banks. He tailors his consulting to any size bank, working on simple user-level policies with banks as small as one location to providing management-level regulatory compliance training for Fortune 500 companies. His primary strength is the use of risk management fundamentals to help banks determine where they need to be on the compliance spectrum. In addition, Dan has helped develop risk management programs and processes for banks as large as 2.5 billion and as small as 26 million in assets.
As the President of infotex, he directly supervises the Vice President and the Customer Service Manager. He currently holds the role of Information Security Officer and leads the Management Team. His primary responsibility is to ensure client expectations are exceeded. He is a 25% shareholder of the Company.

Bobbette Fagel, CISA, CISM, Vice President
Bobbette has worked with infotex since its inception, coming to us from the accounting firm (Bucheri McCarty and Metz LLP). She helped develop the marketing philosophy and materials for infotex. Her contribution to the inception and growth of the Company has been essential and every client will agree that she is a crucial member of the team.
Bobbette has been intimately involved in compliance projects for banks and hospitals, and is one of our foremost consultants on policy and procedure. She handles the quality control for all reporting: Vulnerability Assessments, Network Architecture Reviews, IT Audits, etc. She has a great understanding of the FFIEC guidelines and stays on top of changes in those guidelines. Bobbette helps clients understand the metrics of risk analysis as well as the business case for information security expenditures (and more importantly, the risk acceptance case for NOT making those expenditures).
As the Vice President of infotex, she directly supervises the Daytime Data Security Analyst and contributes compliance consulting to the Management Team. She monitors policy and procedures for compliance and informs the Management Team of enforcement issues. She oversees development of marketing materials.
Sean Waugh, B.S., MCSA, MCP, Customer Service Manager
Sean hails from Cincinnati, OH and holds a B.S. in Telecommunications and Networking Technology from Purdue University. He came to infotex as a NOC Associate, and has seen the evolution of the Managed Services through three leaders prior to becoming the defacto leader himself. In 2007 he was promoted to Customer Service Manager and became the lead technical liaison with all clients.
Sean oversees the reporting process and is the Lead Security Analyst for the managed services side of the business. He is also our lead consultant for Technical Vulnerability Assessments, Network Configuration Audits (a process he developed), and Information Technology Audits. As a Microsoft Certified System Administrator, he holds the role of Network Administrator and acts in the capacity of NOC Manager.
Sean is an important member of the Management Team, holds top authority in all matters technical, and provides valuable advice on supervision of the technical staff members to the President and Vice President.
Danny Osborn, Data Security Analyst
Danny hails from Winamac, Indiana. He came to infotex as a NOC Associate and has watched the evolution of the Managed Services and applications used to support the Managed Services since 2006. He has a strong background in customer service and keeping the clients’ needs in the forefront.
Danny was promoted to Application Developer in 2008 and as such has created a new “walk-before-you-run” approach to the improvement of our Portal, Reporting Processes, LogMon Compliance System, and Daily Reporting Engine. Danny is currently working towards a degree in computer information technology at IVY Tech University and is pursuing a Microsoft Certified Professional track.
As Application Developer, Danny works off an intense list of “risk-ranked priorities.” He reports directly to the President regarding the progress of application development. As the “second shift producer” he also handles coordination of night-time client communication, and assists with Technical Vulnerability Assessments.
Chad Smith, Data Security Analyst
Chad started his career in 2001 building a foundation in the service and support sector. With his experience in networking and network security, Chad advanced into a career of Information Security.
Chad is our most recent addition to the team, joining us in the summer of 2008. As the Data Security Analyst with a “regular schedule,” he has stabilized communication with clients. He brings to infotex a thorough understanding that staying at the forefront of an ever-changing industry is what drives success not only for our team, but also for our clients. He is currently pursuing CompTIA and (ISC)2 certifications. He is also working towards the GIAC data security analyst certifications.
As Daytime Data Security Analyst, Chad is pretty busy just clearing alerts and following up on client inquiries. Beyond that, he is responsible for testing the network backup procedure, auditing sensors, and reporting on the integrity of daily reports.
Matthew Jonkman, CISSP, Senior Security Consultant
Matthew Jonkman came to us as part of our acquisition of Paradigm Shift Security in January 2003. Prior to then, he was an associate Security Engineer, so we've actually been working with Matt since late 2000.
Matt was our CTO from 2003 through 2006. He still works with us as an associate.
Matt has been involved in Information Technology since the late-1980s. He has a strong background in banking and network security, network engineering, incident response, and Intrusion Detection. Matt led our team in the development of our managed services as well as the creation of bleeding snort. He now maintains the third generation of bleeding snort, emergingthreats.net. Matt spent 5 years serving abroad in the Army as an Air Traffic Control Radar and Communications Systems Engineer before attending Indiana State University and the Rose-Hulman Institute. After several years as a general consultant he became Lead Technician for Sprint’s Internal and Managed Security division, overseeing the implementation of all Sprint Internal and Managed Security Devices. Matt then moved to the financial sector as Senior Security Engineer for a major Midwestern bank and financial services corporation. Matt is helping our firm offer a full range of general and security specific consulting services and Security Assessments to the entire country, as well as Managed Intrusion Detection, Secure Email, and Managed Firewall Services.

Jason Rubsam, Operations Manager, MCSE (NT4), CNA5, A+
Jason has worked in information technology since 1993, with 7 of those years being spent in as Director of IS of a large Healthcare organization. Not only does he posses a technical background that includes network and telecom engineering, but Jason also has vast expertise with project management, team building, and customer service.
During the course of his career, Jason has been in the roles of client, vendor and consultant, thus providing him with a special insight to the needs of all those "at the table". As a network engineer and a member of senior management in a healthcare environment, he also understands the special role of information security in regulatory compliance (i.e. HIPAA).
Jason works with infotex as an associate, and is an Information Technology Consultant for Rubsam Consulting, LLC out of Lafayette, Indiana

Jeff Brambora, B.S., M.S., M.A.
With degrees in chemistry, biochemistry and theology, Jeff has one of the most diverse backgrounds of all the people we know, which gives him a unique perspective when it comes to problem solving and "thinking outside of the box." Jeff's experience includes service to both the not-for-profit sector as well as the for-profit business community. During his eleven years working for not-for-profit organizations, Jeff developed systems of simple standard operating procedures that integrated his organizations' observed best practices. Consequently, Jeff likes to think that he "created some order out of near total chaos."
Today, Jeff works in the pharmaceutical industry where he specializes in developing and implementing compliance quality systems using software out of the box and simple control strategies.

Joe Cychosz, BSEE, MSE, E-Commerce Strategist
Joe began his career twenty years ago as a Systems Analyst for Control Data Corporation where he was responsible for clients including Bendix, Caterpillar, Indiana State University, Fermilab, Aeritalia, Purdue University, and various government locations. He later established a computer consulting firm which provides systems integration and product development for small companies. Joe has over fifteen years of experience in product development and integration of UNIX-based systems. Joe was Adjunct Professor of Mechanical Engineering and a research staff member at Purdue University's Computer Aided Design and Graphics Lab and the Center for Collaborative Manufacturing. He has been the manager of the lab's infrastructure since 1986 and has participated in state-of-the-art computer graphics research projects since 1981. He has published several articles on computer graphics and has authored contributions in the Graphics Gems (italic for Graphics Gems) series.
As a consultant, he was co-architect and developer of a Hierarchal Storage Management (HSM) system capable of storing several terabytes of data with complete autonomous operation. Joe also has developed production management data base systems for the entertainment industry. He is co-founder of WorldServer, a web-hosting services and data base solutions company, and is CTO of 1mart Corporation, a provider of e-commerce solutions. Joe Cychosz has a BSEE from the University of Illinois and a MSE from Purdue University. He is a member of SIGGRAPH and the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers.

Susan E. Orr, CISM, CISA, Information Security Trainer
Susan is a leading financial services expert with over 15 years of risk management experience as a bank examiner with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). She has held lead positions at the FDIC working on banking safety and soundness, compliance, information technology and security, and electronic banking risk management issues.
Susan was instrumental in key industry initiatives such as the FDIC E-Risk Strategic Initiatives Risk Monitoring Committee, the Chicago Region Interagency Technology Group, and the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) IT Handbook rewrites. She was also Vice President of Regulatory Compliance at Catbird Networks and holds the Certified Risk Professional (CRP) designation from the BAI Center for Certification and the Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM) designation from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). Susan speaks regularly at risk management and security educational seminars and has authored numerous white papers on emerging information technology and security risk management topics.

Dale Sears is a proven professional with 16 years of demonstrated consulting expertise. He has worked with all levels of personnel in achieving outstanding results for numerous companies in a variety of industries ranging from Fortune 100 to entrepreneurial. Dale has demonstrated skill in areas including leadership development, behavioral assessments, hiring recommendations, team building and executive and personal coaching; meeting facilitation, strategic planning, implementation and execution and performance management systems; sales development, e-commerce, business technology integration and career marketing and development.
Dale has worked himself up the corporate and consulting chain of command assuring a thorough knowledge of expertise. After majoring in mathematics, he began his career as a sales engineer and eventually moved into sales management and was affiliated with the Dale Carnegie Organization as an instructor. He then progressed into positions of leadership and management with companies in various industries and was recognized a number of times for leadership including General Manager of the Year twice. A gifted and dynamic speaker and teacher, he is currently teaching a leadership module for the Butler University and Indiana Institute of Technology MBA programs.
Dale was Consultant of the Year two years in a row for a national firm and has significant experience in developing leaders among senior levels and their companies, departments and teams.

Greg McCarty, B.S., M.B.A., CPA
Greg began his public accounting career in 1976, and spent the first four years as an auditor with a national CPA firm in Dallas, Texas. Greg is primarily responsible for all audit and accounting policies and has developed expertise in management information systems.
Chuck began his accounting experience in industrial cost accounting as a senior in college. He went into public accounting with a regional firm upon graduation. After three years, he was founding partner of Bucheri McCarty & Metz LLP. Since becoming a partner in 1978, Chuck has been responsible for managing the services provided to a wide range of operating businesses, including contracting, broadcasting, retailing, and wholesale operations. As a management consultant, Chuck has always been concerned with the use of Information.
Ron began practicing in accounting in 1980. He spent the first five years of his career with a large, regional CPA firm, primarily in their tax department. He moved to Kokomo in 1984, and joined the Partnership in 1987. Ron is primarily responsible for tax policies, procedures and research for the firm. In addition, he specializes in business valuations and business buy/sell negotiations. In October 1989, Ron spearheaded the opening of our satellite office in Wabash, Indiana. Given that we are now in the Information Age, Ron recognizes the value of Information in a business.
