| Evaluation:
The
design process that really involves the accounting perspective is the
evaluation phase. From benchmarking to inventorying to
ROI
analysis, we
ensure our clients know that there is a benefit to their
technology and information system investments.
This
phase of the Information Technology Planning process is to set
"benchmarks" for various criteria that are the "whys" behind the
decision to purchase technology. We then teach our clients to take
measurements at preplanned intervals, and calculate ROI, to determine if
original expectations and goals are being met, and to respond if not.
We
also have many ways to solicit feedback on your IT Planning process, as
well as the projects which result from the various components of the
plan. In this way, when your new component is installed, your IT
Planning team will learn from the experience, and use this new knowledge
to make your next operation smoother.
